Water flows and levels throughout the watershed remain higher than normal for this time of year as a result of recent rainfall events. All dams across the watershed still remain open to some degree and boaters and residents are advised to stay well clear of those locations. Fast flowing water and unstable shorelines are dangerous. Parents are encouraged to continue to warn their children about the dangers of playing near cold, fast moving water along watercourses and ditches. Daily water levels and flows are available on the MVC website at www.mvc.on.ca. |
