SIZE / DEPTH: Surface Area - 0.96 kilometres squared Length - 1.9 kilometres Width - 0.5 kilometres Perimeter - 5.5 kilometres Maximum Depth - 17.4 metres. QUALITY: In general, the water quality in Ardoch Lake remains good. Water clarity has declined since 1976, directly related to water clarity is the amount of nutrients in the lake. The Provincial Water Quality Objective for Total Phosphorus is 20 micrograms per litre. Ardoch reads at 12.8 micrograms per litre indicating a mesotrophic or moderately enriched lake SURROUNDING LAND: # of Cottages - 6 ( as of 1980) # of Vacant Lots - 3 ( as of 1975) Patent Land - 100% ACCESS: Ardoch Lake is located east of the town of Ardoch. Public access is available on Malcolm Lake located downstream of Ardoch Lake.
